Compatibility

Built for 20" fat-tire e-bike platforms, including Macfox x1 and comparable models. Confirm your frame has a 180-190 mm dropout, a place to mount the controller, and a 48-52v battery. (Note: the xt60 battery tray is for the stock macfox x1 battery, only get without if you already have an xt60 connector or if you do not have a stock battery.)

Installation

This is a full motor conversion, not a plug-and-play swap. Installation involves wheel/motor mounting, controller wiring, and display setup, and typically requires mechanical experience or a shop install. Frame and fork must be rated for high-torque hub motor use — avoid carbon or lightweight frames. Use at your own risk.
